It’s the beginning of your journey together - capturing every tiny detail.
Although many photographers suggest a 10-14 day window for newborn photography, I say time is too precious to put a cap on it. When I became a mother, I wanted to remember every eyelash, every dimple, and every fleck of colour in my new baby’s eyes. Children grow so fast! That’s why I spend so much time creating opportunities for families to capture each milestone.
It doesn’t matter if you choose a lifestyle newborn photo session at home or studio setting. Keeping you and your newborn baby at ease is the most important detail of our appointment.

A studio setting for your newborn photos takes place in my relaxed home studio based in Antrim, Northern Ireland. It is equipped with props, blankets, and various backdrops to fit any home decor.
A lifestyle session is perfect for families who might be home birds but still understand the importance of capturing this special time. I come to your home as a fly on the wall. You just need to snuggle in and love each other.
“Lauren was amazing when working with our wee one, she was just over a week old at the time. The photographs that came out of the shoot where perfect... will come back for a cake smash on her 1st birthday 😊”
HOW MUCH IS A NEWBORN PHOTO SHOOT?
Newborn shoots start at £85 with the lifestyle session option. My pricing is based on the amount of time spent with you and your family, as well as editing after our session.
WHEN SHOULD NEWBORN PHOTOS BE TAKEN?
I consider any baby from 3 months and under to be a newborn. It's totally fine to have an older newborn experience a newborn shoot!
WHAT IS CONSIDERED NEWBORN PHOTOGRAPHY?
Whether you prefer blanket poses or something more natural, it's about capturing those first few weeks. Babies grow so fast!
IS NEWBORN PHOTOGRAPHY DANGEROUS?
Great question! It's really important to be as cautious as possible. I make sure the baby's safety is my priority from posing to in-between shot moments.
